Personality:

Lottie is known to be the quiet girl; she thinks a lot more than she speaks, and she's sharp as a tack.
Although she may not talk much, that in no way means she's shy. She's willing to approach anyone and anything, without fear. Most people think of her as a mystery, since she doesn't share details of her life or her inner thoughts with anyone other than her notebook.

Backstory:

Not much is to be said about Lot's past. She lived with her father in Olivine, who was a fisherman and an ex Navy Seal, and grew up around boats and ships. She was daddy's little girl, and had always dreamed of becoming a captain.

Later in life, Lottie put aside her dream of becoming a captain of her own ship and started working as a waitress in Olivine's restaurant. She wanted to save up and go to school to study marine life, but never made enough money. When she did make something, she forked majority of it over to helping her father out. He worked as a fisherman on his own ship and barely made enough to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table.

After her father passed away from a heart-attack, Lottie no longer knew what to do with herself. She had lost the person who meant the most to her. In his honor, she decided to join the Navy. Even after his death, she still wants to make her daddy proud.

Fearless, alert, stubborn, yet mellow, Dave was never seen with other buizels. Only himself. You could say that this little guy has unidentified personal issues.
Before being captured by some tall, hefty, mustachioed men in uniform into a tiny ball and forced into endless amounts of physical training and mental brainwash, Dave was never the approachable type, even by fellow buizels. He was always mucking about in the rivers, tipping over canoes to relieve frustration and for his own entertainment, since he was always a loner.
Being military property, he is now in the hands of his new partner, Lottie, to go into war side-by-side. Dave seems more interested in combat than he is with his partner, but deep down, he enjoys having company for a change.

The bullet hole in his right fin was from a zigzagoon flinging the item it picked up - a discarded bullet in the middle of the training field - right at Dave during a training session. Luckily it was only the fin, and that Dave can still swim as if the bullet hole wasn't even there. It's just a nifty little battle scar. Ever since that incident, his anger is triggered by anything with a zigzagoon pattern on it- especially zigzagoons.
